My daughter is a genius. No honestly, she really is clever. She said her first word at four and a half months old and started speaking in sentences at just over one. She could identify animals AND what sounds they make at around the same age, she could point out objects in a book when prompted and could count to ten, all at just over a year old. So when it came to thinking about potty training, I wasn’t worried. Why would I be? Wasn’t my girl as clever as they come? She’d never struggled with anything in her short life so far. This would be a breeze.
Boy how wrong was I?
So if you’re interested in how not to potty train your baby (or how to do it if you want to take over twelve months), then read on. I’m sure if you ignore everything I write, you’ll do just fine.
