About Me

I’m a 38 year old married Mum of one who (like most women I know) has a lot to say.

I’m interested in health, exercise, food (lots of food) and most importantly self-development.

On this blog you will find writings about, basically, whatever is on my mind at any given time. The result is often a mass of confusion and contradiction and I’m not promising that it’ll be any good, but I can promise that it’ll always be honest.

The name for my blog was taken from an extended essay by Virginia Woolf, A Room of One’s Own, in which Woolf stated that  “a woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction.”  I like the idea that this is my own ‘room’ to write in.
